CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Those thinking that Nike would play on the Los Angeles Lakers' classic purple and gold colors for LeBron James' first signature shoe with the team might be disappointed at the start of the NBA season.
According to Bleacher Report, Nike has chosen the "King" colorway version of the Nike LeBron 16 for James to wear during the Lakers' season opener.
On the surface, there's nothing too special about that. However, people on social media noticed the shoes have a Cavaliers look.
The "King" colorway comes in maroon and white with leopard print on the heel.
