MINNEAPOLIS -- Larry Nance Jr. will not play in the Cleveland Cavaliers' second game of the season against the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight.
Nance, who missed the opener against the Raptors on Wednesday night because of a sprained ankle, went through shootaround early Friday morning in Minnesota, testing the injury. After meeting with the training staff, the determination was made to sit Nance once again.
Head coach Tyronn Lue said Nance suffered a bit of a setback, experiencing some soreness following Tuesday's practice.
For Nance, this is the first sprained ankle in his entire basketball career, something Lue said is "crazy" to think about.
