CLEVELAND: It isn’t just the Spurs’ championship rings that LeBron James admires, nor is it simply the Hall of Fame talent that has rolled through San Antonio.
While James has often called Spurs coach Gregg Popovich the greatest of all time and did so again this week in advance of Saturday’s game between the Cavaliers and Spurs, what James really admires is Popovich’s ability to adapt to the changes within the game.
“A guy that’s been able to do what he’s done in an era of basketball where it’s changed so much and he’s been able to have a growth mindset,” James said.
