After taking it on the chin from the Cavaliers in Cleveland’s last 11 visits to New York – including a three-touchdown win eight days ago – the Knicks decided they’d had enough.
New York jumped on the Wine & Gold late in the first quarter and never looked back – sending the sloppy Cavaliers to their fourth straight loss, a 123-105 decision on Monday night at Madison Square Garden.
Despite outshooting the Knicks from the floor and from beyond the arc, Cleveland, without both Kevin Love and Larry Nance Jr., committed 20 turnovers that led to 32 Knicks’ points.
