As they pondered the menu, there were helpful servers ready to answer any questions.

The server was quick with an answer explaining that is a leafy edible plant — sort of like a piece of fancy lettuce.
At lunch on Friday, some kids and their families from the LeBron James Family Foundation were the first in Akron to get a taste of the new Piada Italian Street Food restaurant preparing to open off West Market Street in the new 365 by Whole Food plaza.
The Columbus-based restaurant chain’s Akron location doesn’t officially open until Tuesday but it is training its kitchen and counter staff with special invitation-only preview events over the weekend.
