Since dislocating his left shoulder (and subsequently requiring surgery) against the Boston Celtics in April, Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Kevin Love has been trying to get back to game action as quickly as possible. With rumors swirling about when Love will make his return, head coach David Blatt said that Love could potentially make his preseason debut Sunday against the Toronto Raptors.
“[He’s] coming along well,” Blatt said of Love Tuesday night. “Making progress and hope to see him playing perhaps Sunday. We will see.”
After participating in his first five-on-five drills during Saturday’s practice, Love said that he “felt good,” but that he still is unsure of when he will get back into game action.
