INDEPENDENCE, Ohio -- The Cavs assigned rookie point guard Kay Felder to their D-League affiliate, the Canton Charge, for a home game tonight against the Delaware 87ers.
This will be Felder's third appearance with the Charge. If the first two were any indication, this should go well. Felder's averaging 30.0 points, 7.0 rebounds and 6.0 assists in 41.5 minutes for Canton.
A reminder, sending Felder to the Charge does not clear a roster spot on the Cavs. He's averaging 4.1 points in 9.6 minutes for Cleveland this season.
Felder will almost surely be recalled for the Cavs' game Saturday night against the Chicago Bulls.
