CLEVELAND, Ohio -- J.R. Smith returned to the floor Thursday for the Cleveland Cavaliers, less than three months after undergoing surgery to repair a fractured thumb, and drained a corner fadeaway 3-point shot that teammate Kevin Love called "vintage Swish."
Smith entered the game in the first quarter, but it wasn't until late in the second period that Smith got his first bucket of the game.
LeBron James fired a pass that deflected off Smith's hands into the corner in front of the Cavaliers' bench. Smith tracked the loose ball down and fired up a fadeaway 3-pointer that bounced off the rim a couple of times and went in.
