J.R. Smith has always been recognized for what he can do on the offensive end but the Cleveland Cavaliers want him to continue his defensive rebirth and slow down the Toronto Raptors’ DeMar Derozan, starting tomorrow.
Derozan, the Compton-bred shooting guard and ninth overall pick of the 2009 NBA Draft, averaged a career-high 27.3 points per game in the regular season (5th in the NBA). His ability to knock down shots from 10-16 feet and his ability to get to the free-throw line.
