J.R. Smith is ready to talk about the soup incident.
The former NBA guard opened up on his 2018 suspension for throwing soup on then-Cavaliers assistant coach Damon Jones, saying it was a result of Jones "playing too much" when Smith was struggling on the floor.
"So, Damon Jones, he's my guy. ... But he has a knack of playing too much," Smith said on Old Man and the Three. "And, for me, don't get me wrong, I like to play a little joke here and there, but he's consistent with it. For me, if I'm telling you 'I'm not in the mood right now.
