Obviously one of the biggest stories of the week has been the introduction of Caitlyn Jenner that began with a cover shoot for Vanity Fair and then exploded from there. Cleveland Cavaliers star J.R. Smith found himself in the middle of mania courtesy of a post on Instagram he has since deleted.
In a post praising Akon for launching a “solar academy” that has a stated goal of providing 600 million people in Africa with electricity, Smith wondered why that news wasn’t getting as much attention as Jenner, who he characterized as a “science project.”
It stands to reason that people have incredibly varying opinions on Jenner’s story, from passionately vocal support to vehement condemnation.
