According to various reports, Joe Johnson, who was sought after by the Cavaliers, has committed to sign with the Miami Heat.

A few reasons Johnson may have chose Miami over Cleveland and other teams is that he can get more playing time there and the Heat are 32-15, currently in the fourth-seed in the Eastern Conference. If Chris Bosh does not return this season, it’s unlikely Miami makes a deep run into the post-season, but there is a possibility of a Cavs-Heat series in April.
