Those two Cleveland Cavaliers are Jaron Blossomgame and Collin Sexton, who both had a dog in the race on Monday. Blossomgame, a Clemson alumnus, made a wager with Alabama’s Sexton regarding who would win the showdown.
The wager? Fifty “any time” push-ups and wearing some sort of apparel supporting the other’s college squad for a week’s worth of time.
Clemson took it to Alabama with a 44-16 stomping led by true freshman quarterback Trevor Lawrence. The game was a fourteen-point deficit at halftime but the Crimson Tide couldn’t even muster up some sort of offense in the second half, as Alabama head coach Nick Saban and company were held scoreless in a shocking turn of events.
