On Thursday afternoon, James Jones was announced as one the winners of the "Best Teammate" award for the NBPA Players Voice Awards. The National Basketball Players Association (NBPA) Players Voice takes votes exclusively from active NBA players, the only reward show to do so.
The awards, which were announced through the NBPA twitter account, wraps up a busy year of honors for the Wine & Gold. The Cavaliers took home seven (7) total awards during the 2016 ESPY Awards, including "Best Team" and "Best Moment in Sports", and LeBron James followed that up, being names the "Best Male Athlete" at the 2016 Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards.
