One of the Cleveland Cavaliers' key leaders is back in the fold for 2016-17, as forward James Jones signed a one-year deal to return to the team.
According to Shams Charania of The Vertical, the contract is worth $1.55 million. Brian Windhorst of ESPN.com confirmed the deal.
The 35-year-old Jones played sparingly for the Cavs last season, as he appeared in just 48 regular-season games and averaged 3.7 points in 9.6 minutes per contest.
He also averaged 0.5 points in 4.6 minutes per game in 12 playoff appearances en route to the Cavaliers winning their first NBA title.
