James Jones Agrees To 1-Year Deal With Cleveland Cavaliers

James Jones and the Cleveland Cavaliers have agreed on a one-year, $1.55 million contract, according to The Vertical‘s Shams Charania.

Jones, 35, made history in becoming the second player in NBA history to reach six straight NBA Finals appearances, joining teammate LeBron James. The two played for the Miami Heat (four) and now the Cavs (two) to combine for those six consecutive Finals appearances.

Jones is averaging 4.1 points per game during his two-year career with the Cavs. He’s never been a great player, but he knows his niche as a shooter.
