BOSTON -- It's not exactly a shocking revelation, but Celtics coach Brad Stevens said it's "killing" Kyrie Irving to not be able to play against the Cavaliers in the Eastern finals.
"It's killing him not to be out on the floor, but I think that would be the case, obviously, any time you're playing this deep into the playoffs, especially in a new place," Stevens said before Game 5.
Irving, in case you've lived on Mars (or somewhere without proper cellular service) the last decade, spent six seasons with the Cavs, was their No. 1 overall pick in 2011, and helped win them a championship in 2016.
