COLUMBUS, Ohio -- The Ohio State basketball coaching carousel is moving again, and now a familiar name to Northeast Ohioans is reportedly in the mix.
Mike Brown, the former Cavaliers coach and current Golden State Warriors assistant, is a reported candidate to replace Thad Matta.
The Columbus Dispatch was the first to report Brown as a potential candidate. Adam Jardy of the Dispatch reported on Wednesday that Ohio State athletic director Gene Smith was planning to meet with Brown on Thursday in Cleveland.
The Warriors and Cavs will play Game 4 of the NBA Finals in Cleveland on Friday.
