When most 10-year-olds get to join their father at work, it doesn’t entail shooting hoops with Magic Johnson or James Worthy before heading home. But when you’re the son of Mike Dunleavy – who played for four NBA teams and was head coach of four more, including the Lakers from 1990-92 – that’s just another day in dad’s office.
Mike Dunleavy, Jr. joined the Cavaliers in early June in an offseason deal with Chicago. And his versatility and shooting should be key as the reigning Champs make another run at the title.
After winning the 2001 NCAA Championship with Duke, the younger Dunleavy was tabbed with the third overall pick by Golden State.
