CLEVELAND, Ohio – A drunk driver put Antonio Mason in a wheelchair, and a year later he struggles to keep up with a young son who just began to walk. He calls it a daily roller coaster ride with too many valleys and not enough peaks.
Mason wants to walk more than anything, and seeing 14-month old Antonio Jr. run around and away from him is a constant reminder of what he lost last year, just days before his son was born.
This week, as holiday parties kick in, Mason has begun to serve as a national reminder of the lives dramatically changed by drunk drivers.
