David Blatt says Kyrie won't be back anytime soon.
Kyrie Irving hasn't played a game yet for the Cavaliers this season, and it hasn't mattered much when you look at the standings.
Cleveland has won seven of its first eight games, so it's understandable that the team is going to be cautious with Irving as he works his way back from the fractured kneecap injury he suffered in last year's NBA Finals.
"[We're] not rushing things and not letting up from the day-to-day work, but still a ways to go," David Blatt said after Thursday's practice.
