Dan Gilbert to Discuss Contract With David Griffin After Finals Loss

Following the Cleveland Cavaliers' NBA Finals loss to the Golden State Warriors on Monday, owner Dan Gilbert is set to discuss a potential new contract with general manager David Griffin.

According to Joe Vardon of Cleveland.com, Gilbert said Tuesday he will meet with Griffin "in the next few days" to determine if he will return for the 2017-18 season and beyond.

Griffin's contract expires June 30.
