OAKLAND, Calif. -- In September of 2014, as LeBron James was preparing for his first training camp with the Cleveland Cavaliers since bolting for Miami four years prior, he said he would never leave again.
"I plan on finishing my career back home," James said to Rachel Nichols, then the host of CNN's Unguarded. She now hosts ESPN's daily basketball show, The Jump.
Three seasons, three Finals, one championship, and a whole bunch of history later, James is nearing a crossroads, maybe the last crossroads of his illustrious, 14-year career which he's said he intends on finishing in Cleveland.
