CLEVELAND, Ohio -- Rookie Collin Sexton will make his first career start on Wednesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder, stepping in for veteran George Hill who has been scratched late because of right shoulder soreness.
Hill went through his customary on-court workout about an hour before tipoff, but made a motion that he was feeling some pain in his shoulder and determined he couldn't go.
The Cavs don't play again until Saturday in Chicago, which gives Hill a few days to rest and recover. Cleveland continues to take a cautious approach with any injury.
It will be Hill's first missed game of the season.
