CLEVELAND, Ohio - City Council will begin hearings as early as next week on a proposal calling for the city to provide $88 million toward improving Quicken Loans Arena.
Council leaders told cleveland.com Tuesday that groups on both sides of the issue will be invited to weigh in. But they warned that the hearings would not provide an open microphone for the public at large.
"We'll find a way to have representatives for some of the larger interest groups to have the ability to express their comments to the committees," Council President Kevin Kelley said.
