CLEVELAND, Ohio - With a final vote looming Monday, efforts to sway council votes on a deal that would commit an estimated $88 million in Cleveland tax dollars toward upgrades at Quicken Loans Arena appeared to be continuing Friday.

Meanwhile, the Greater Cleveland Congregations, which opposes the structure of the deal for arena improvements, laid out Friday what kind of benefits to the community it would like included in the deal.

The issue likely will come to a head Monday when City Council is expected to take its final vote on the deal, clearing the way for $140 million in improvements to The Q.
