With LeBron James’ departure from the Cleveland Cavaliers to the Los Angeles Lakers, all of LA was in excitement, including Luke Walton. Luke Walton has served as the head coach of the Los Angeles Lakers since the 2016 season.
However, in those seasons Walton has never coached someone with the talent level of James.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Lue plans to set down over dinner to discuss the newly acquired challenge of coaching the three-time champion.
Lue said he plans to meet with Walton and Lakers associate head coach Brian Shaw — who was Lue’s Lakers teammate for two seasons — in Las Vegas this week to discuss over dinner their new coaching challenge.
