The Cleveland Cavaliers have sent Sasha Kaun and cash to the Philadelphia 76ers, according to The Vertical‘s Adrian Wojnarowski.
In return, Cleveland gets the rights to Chukwudiebere Maduabum from the Sixers. They also have created another traded player exception for Kaun’s $1.3 million salary, according to 92.3 The Fan‘s Daryl Ruiter.
With center Timofey Mozgov landing a deal with the Los Angeles Lakers, the Cavs were thin behind starting center Tristan Thompson. In fact, they were so thin that when Kaun entered a game against the Houston Rockets, veteran guard Jason Terry had to look at the back of Kaun’s jersey to figure out who he was.
