The Cleveland Cavaliers will begin their 50th season in the NBA on Wednesday night in the Amway Center in Orlando against the Magic. Last season the Magic surprised many and snuck into the playoffs as the eighth seed.
The Cavaliers would like to follow a similar path as the Magic and surprise teams this season. While it isn’t realistic to expect the Cavs to surprise teams enough to grab a playoff spot, the hope is that the Cavs can improve on their win total of 19 from last season.
The last Cavalier rebuild showed to be a futile effort, at least until LeBron James returned from the Miami Heat.
