Cleveland Cavaliers sophomore surprise: Can Kay Felder break out?

With the 54th pick in the 2016 NBA draft, Kay Felder’s NBA dream became a reality. The standout from Oakland Unversity was drafted by the reigning champs, the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Technically, Felder was drafted by the Atlanta Hawks then traded to the Cavaliers for cash on draft night which indicates he was probably chosen by the Cavaliers and just picked by the Hawks. Trading picks for cash seems to be a trend as Golden State did it this season and acquired Jordan Bell, a very good all-around player from Oregon.

Felder saw the floor in 42 games for the Cleveland Cavaliers.
