The Cleveland Cavaliers added another veteran name to the lineup with swingman Richard Jefferson, who reportedly turned down the Mavs in order to play for a championship in Cleveland. The 14-year veteran comes to the Cavs as much needed forward depth behind LeBron, as well as adding 3-shooting on a team that seemed to desperately need it in the playoffs late this year.
Jefferson’s minutes have been lower lately of course due to his age, however he managed to average over 40% from 3 in four of the past five seasons, a feat highly valued in this floor-spacing NBA.
