The Cleveland Cavaliers started out slow as they fell behind by 15 points early due to a hot start from Sacramento Kings’ second-year point guard De’Aaron Fox and company. Cleveland didn’t give up and fought back to take a brief lead in the second quarter and went to halftime tied.
The second half was a completely different story. The game got away from the Cavs quickly in the third quarter and they were completely steamrolled in the closing quarter. Cleveland couldn’t stop the bleeding as they were outscored by 29 points in the second half.
The aforementioned Fox led the way for the new-look Kings, who were doing what they do best this season, as they were pushing the ball as much as possible and getting easy points in the paint on too many occasions.
