The Cleveland Cavaliers and 28 others teams do not hold their own pick destiny in the 2021 NBA Draft. For every team picking later than No. 1, the decisions made by teams before them dictate who will be available to them. No one gets to pick Oklahoma State’s Cade Cunningham if the Detroit Pistons take him first.
The higher you are, the more likely you are to get your target, and the Cavaliers are sitting in a good spot with the No. 3 pick.
