CLEVELAND, Ohio -- LeBron James and Kevin Love weren't on the floor as the Lakers and Cavaliers met Monday night, but there was plenty of excitement nonetheless.
After Collin Sexton forced overtime with a 3-pointer late in regulation and then hit a free throw with 3.3 seconds left in OT to force a second overtime period, the Cavaliers managed just three points in the final two minutes in falling 112-109 to the Los Angeles Lakers in the semifinal of the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas.
Likely Summer League MVP Josh Hart led the Lakers (6-0) with 37 points and Svi Mykhailiuk added 31 for the tournament's top-seeded team, which plays in the final Tuesday.
