For the past four consecutive seasons, the Cleveland Cavaliers have found themselves playing well into May and early June.
That success has consequently yielded lower draft picks and less talented prospects. Although some of the Cavs draft picks since 2013 have seen success in the NBA, it hasn’t been with the team.
The Cavs 2011 draft class shaped the team as Kyrie Irving and Tristan Thompson quickly become the faces of the franchise.
Then the No. 1 overall pick in the 2003 and Ohio-native LeBron James came home in 2014. In order to improve the team, the Cavs traded many of their first-round picks in order to get complementary pieces like sharpshooters Kyle Korver and Channing Frye.
