CLEVELAND, Ohio -- With the free agency of LeBron James looming, the Cleveland Cavaliers drafted Collin Sexton, a 19-year-old point guard from Alabama and announced they were getting back to the business of player development.
With a roster that skews younger and more athletic than it has been in a while, it makes sense to try and develop the young guys into savvy veterans. Of course, how a player develops probably is dependent on whether or not LeBron decides to stay.
If The King stays, it still is possible a promising young guy like Sexton could be traded and end up developing on some other team's dime.
