The Cleveland Cavaliers hosted the Boston Celtics as Kyrie Irving made his return to Cleveland in the C’s first game of the season. The game ended with a Cleveland win, but not before Gordon Hayward’s gruesome leg injury stole the show.
While one injury might have highlighted the home opener, the Cavaliers displayed several other concerns that they might want to address. The first is that their spacing with both Derrick Rose and Dwyane Wade on the court is dismal, but we’ll touch on that a bit later.
For Rose, he played 31.3 minutes in that first game which is about a minute less than he averaged last season.
