With LeBron James heading to the Los Angeles Lakers and Jeff Green signing with the Washington Wizards, the Cleveland Cavaliers are in dire need of a solid combo forward.
Though the Cavs have agreed to acquire Sam Dekker from the Los Angeles Clippers, they added depth rather than a dependable rotation player. Dekker was picked up because the Clippers were seemingly just going to waive him after they racked up so many guaranteed contracts.
The Cavs saw him as decent player with stretch-four potential and he’s a low-risk acquisition. There would be no surprise if he saw very little playing time this year.
