Cleveland Cavaliers: 3 reasons the Cavs should trade for CJ McCollum

Christian James McCollum, also known as CJ McCollum was the 10th pick in the 2013 draft. He was drafted by the Portland Trail Blazers out of Lehigh University, but he’s from Canton, Ohio, giving him a nice link back to the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Since the start of his NBA career, McCollum has blossomed into quite the shooting guard, with career averages of 17.2 points, 3.0 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. He had a breakout season during his third year where his scoring average went from 6.8 to 20.8 ppg.

Since then, he has produced consistently and has borderline all-star numbers.
