A report from veteran NBA reporter Marc Stein stated that the Cleveland Cavaliers were expected to offer Jarrett Allen a five-year extension, worth $100 million at the start of the free agency, or at least in that range. That was earlier on Monday.
From there, Stein’s report was confirmed essentially, as Shams Charania of The Athletic and Stadium reported how Allen re-signed with the Cavs via that deal. Cleveland.com’s Chris Fedor also reported how all the said years are guaranteed.
