Chris Andersen has agreed to a one-year, veteran’s minimum deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to The Vertical‘s Adrian Wojnarowski.
In order to clear a roster spot for Andersen, the Cavs sent Sasha Kaun and cash to the Philadelphia 76ers, which created a $1.33 million trade exception. It’s unclear if the trade exception will be used as a sign-and-trade with the Memphis Grizzlies, who Andersen last played with.
Andersen, 38, played in 20 games last season with the Grizzlies, 27 in total. In Memphis he averaged 4.6 points and 4.
