Cavs Willing To Up Tristan Thompson Offer

While the Cleveland Cavaliers and Tristan Thompson have not come to a contract agreement, a new report says that the team may up their offer. For all summer the Cavs have seemed stuck at 5 years and $80 million while Thompson, and his agent Rich Paul, have seemed to be stuck at 5 years and $94 million maximum deal.

According to Chris Haynes, of Cleveland.com, the Cavs are willing to up their offer:

Rich Paul, Thompson’s agent, has submitted a counteroffer of three years, $53 million. Before, they were seeking a five-year, $94-million maximum contract.
