The Cleveland Cavaliers seem to be a team that could several different directions in the 2019 NBA Draft, as we’ve often discussed here at KJG, based on reports of them potentially holding steady, trading up or trading back.
If Cleveland holds steady with their first selection fifth overall, a player they could maybe select is Virginia’s De’Andre Hunter, a player that could be a steady contributor on both ends, and realistically, one that projects to be of the “three-and-D” variety.
We’ve touched on Hunter throughout the process leading up until the draft, which is coming up soon here on June 20, and our own Robbie DiPaola did an in-depth breakdown of Hunter’s game and how he could help the Cleveland Cavaliers if they did select him at that fifth spot.
