Even with the Cleveland Cavaliers only approaching year two of their full-rebuild, they’ve already collected a number of future assets going forward.
General manager Koby Altman has done a terrific job collecting future pieces, as he acquired seven draft picks in the 2018-19 season (of which two are first-rounders), and has shown he’s exactly the guy the Cavs need to guide this franchise through this rebuild.
Going forward, Cleveland finds themselves in a terrific position financially when you consider they have a bunch of guys on expiring deals next year and some should assuredly be coming off the books.
