We all knew that the Cleveland Cavaliers would be (and still are likely to be more) active in the time surrounding the NBA trade deadline. Their near-deadline trade extravaganza started on Sunday, as the team reportedly traded Rodney Hood to the Portland Trail Blazers (then reported by ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski).
Tonight, Cleveland reportedly was involved in another trade (which was also reported by Wojnarowski), with them trading Alec Burks to the Sacramento Kings, them trading the recently-acquired Nik Stauskas and Wade Baldwin IV (in the Hood deal) to the Houston Rockets, and receiving Brandon Knight, Marquese Chriss and the Rockets’ 2019 lottery-protected first-round draft pick.
