The last few weeks have been tough for the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the month of December is going to feature a brutal stretch of games, too.
It got to be even worse on Saturday, when after the Cavs lost a hard-fought contest to the Orlando Magic 93-87 on Friday, Cleveland got absolutely obliterated on the road as the Philadelphia 76ers beat the Wine and Gold 141-94. Cleveland, as a result, is now just 5-17 in the 2019-20 season.
The Sixers had a 41-point halftime lead in that one. Plus, Philly star Ben Simmons had 34 points on 12-of-14 shooting, including even a three-pointer, to go with seven assists, two blocks and two steals in just 26 minutes, as noted by ESPN.
