The Cleveland Cavaliers are signing forward Anderson Varejao for the remainder of the 2020-21 season, according to Shams Charania of Stadium and The Athletic.
Shams Charania13-year NBA veteran Anderson Varejao plans to sign with the Cleveland Cavaliers for the remainder of the season, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Varejao is returning to the franchise with which he’s spent 12 decorated years.
A member of the Cavs from 2004-2016, Varejao, 38, has not played in the NBA since the end of the 2016-17, returning to his native Brazil to join Flamengo in the country's top basketball league.
