The battle for backup point guard has trimmed down to four, as Toney Douglas was released to make room for J.R. Smith.
Now that Douglas is off the training camp roster, the three point guards left standing are Kay Felder, DeAndre Liggins, and Markel Brown.
Head coach Tyronn Lue has praised the 6-foot-6 Liggins for his versatility and defense.
Felder has turned heads with some great preseason games, but his defense leaves room for improvement.
Brown may be the odd man out in the coming days, but he does have two full seasons of NBA experience, something that neither Felder or Liggins possess.
