Cavs prove they still have plenty of gelling together to do in loss to Wizards; three takeaways

CLEVELAND– For as well as the Cavaliers were playing post trade deadline, they were bound to hit a wall at some point.

That’s what happens when you lose six players and add four new ones.

On Thursday night against the Wizards, Cleveland’s momentum stalled as they fell to the Wizards, 110-103. LeBron James led Cleveland with 32 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. J.R. Smith had 15 points and Tristan Thompson had 12 to round out Cavs players in double-digits.

So what exactly went wrong?

At times, it felt like they couldn’t buy a shot, especially from beyond the 3-point arc.
