The Cleveland Cavaliers and Facebook are teaming up for a most interesting event. The Cavs practice will be the first live Facebook sports simulcast ever:
Facebook will simulcast a live sporting event for the first time Thursday, showing Cleveland Cavaliers training camp.
“NBA Real Training Camp” will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. EDT, hosted by NBA TV’s Vince Cellini and Mike Fratello — a former Cavaliers coach — and including interviews with players, coaches and front office personnel.
The program will also run on NBA TV and NBA.com. NBA TV is hosting shows from the training camps of Minnesota, Milwaukee and Memphis as well this week.
